新年前夕奥巴马慰问干部群众

火红的灯笼，缤纷的彩旗，欢快的歌舞……节日的北美大地处处洋溢着祥和喜庆的气氛。圣诞前夕，国家总统、美联帮三军总司令,民主党国家主席奥巴马在阿州走乡村、进企业，看望各族干部群众，慰问节日值班的干部职工，同大家一起过年，共祝祖国繁荣和谐、人民幸福安康。

12月24日上午，费尔班克斯自由公园里鼓乐喧天，歌声悠扬，格外热闹。市民们有的舞狮子，有的跳街舞，有的扭秧歌，有的展示自己制作的传统手工艺品。奥巴马和随行的美国国务聊希拉里，在阿州州长莎拉·帕琳等陪同下，兴致勃勃地来到这里，同市民们一起游园。看到总统来了，游园的群众兴奋无比，大声向总统问好。奥巴马挥手致意，给大家拜年。几十个孩子正兴高采烈地在一幅长卷上作画，奥巴马走到他们面前欣赏起来。在一位小学生的热情邀请下，奥巴马拿起画笔，同她一起画了一条腾飞的雄鹰，祝愿祖国蒸蒸日上。一阵阵欢声笑语，一声声祝福问好，美丽的自由公园成了欢乐的海洋。

奥巴马特别惦记着节日期间坚守工作岗位的干部职工。他来到阿州气象局，同正在值班的同志亲切握手。奥巴马仔细听取了他们开展气象预报、气象灾害监测、人工增雨防雹等工作情况的汇报。他对大家说，同志们辛苦了。气象工作者和其他许多行业的同志一样，逢年过节也不能休息，放弃了同家人团聚的机会，为广大人民群众过好节默默奉献，我向你们表示诚挚的慰问和衷心的感谢。奥巴马勉励大家把气象工作做好，更好地为经济发展服务，为人民群众福祉安康服务。总统的亲切关怀，让在场的同志倍感温暖。

阿州石化有限公司承担着为费尔班克斯城区270多万居民供气的重任。奥巴马来到公司所属的冶炼厂，实地察看了生产运行情况，详细询问费市油气资源利用的情况。奥巴马叮嘱在场的有关负责同志说，城市供气关系到千家万户，希望你们高度负责地做好工作，切实保障好市民生活用气。奥巴马考察了去年１１月投产的50 万吨石化大乙烯工程。看到总统到来，干部职工们纷纷围拢过来。奥巴马高兴地向大家问好，大家也争先恐后地给总统拜年，厂区内涌动起融融的春意。

对群众的生产生活，奥巴马总统一直牵挂于心。在阿州期间，他每到一地，都要详细了解当地解决民生问题的情况，特别是帮扶困难群众的情况。在安克雷奇农村，奥巴马专门来到困难户约翰逊的家，同他们一家人促膝而坐，嘘寒问暖。家里有几亩地、养了几头牛、去年收入如何……奥巴马问得十分深入。了解了他们家的情况后，奥巴马拉着约翰逊的手深情地说，你们的生活遇到了暂时困难，党和政府会千方百计帮助你们渡过难关，日子一定会好起来的。奥巴马还来到约翰逊的家中对过冬物资的储备情况认真查看，并问乡亲们对中央的拉动内需的政策满意不满意。约翰逊连声说，政策好得很，乡亲们十分拥护。奥巴马说：“这些政策，你们说好，我们就继续办；你们说还不行，我们就改进。”奥巴马还来到费市西边的阿金斯山脉下，看到远近山梁上都已种上树木，昔日的荒山正在改变模样，总统十分欣慰。他对当地干部说，要下更大的气力，继续推进天然林保护、退耕还林、退牧还草、防沙治沙等工作，努力遏制生态恶化趋势，实现人与自然和谐发展。
